Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

I want to thank you for the many ways in which you demonstrate God’s own love in your parish communities. In 2025, I ask that you pray with our Lord’s word in the Gospel of John to “Love one another as I have loved you” (John 15:12). This divine commandment is this year’s theme for our Catholic Services Appeal (CSA).

The Catholic Services Appeal is an essential way in which we ensure that our ministries continue. These ministries include the formation of seminarians and deacons, retired priests, youth and young adults, Catholic schools, and ethnic and lay formation — all of which are crucial to the life and mission of the Local Church in northern Nevada. Because of your prayers and generous contributions, this important work has been accomplished year after year.
